About

I am Vinciane Lacroix, artist and scientist. This website is an oveview of my artistic production.

I studied photography, painting and engraving during evening classes in Brussels. I also completed a multi-disciplinary course at the Constantin Meunier Academy.

Background and Exhibitions

Since 1995, I have participated in several group and solo exhibitions, including the “Prix de la Gravure” (Centre de la Gravure et de l’Image Imprimée, La Louvière) in 1997, the “13th Prix Photographie Ouverte” (Musée de la Photographie, Charleroi) in 2000, and the RTBF Collection in 2012 (BOZAR, Brussels).

As an artist and scientist, I take great pleasure in creating connections between art, science, and technology. Feel free to contact me for a lecture on color tailored to your audience.

My blog, color-time.net and its French version vincianelacroix.net, shares ideas, knowledge, and tips on color at the intersection of art and science. Additionally, I have created a website dedicated to chromagenesis, a process I invented, at the crossroads of generative art, traditional art, and technology.

My scientific background, marked by research in image processing and artificial vision, informs my artistic vision.
