A new bilingual FR/EN website dedicated to Chromagenesis: Chromagenesis.net! This is where I’ll be posting all my new creations. You’ll also find descriptions of the production processes.
Happy discovering!
Don’t hesitate to leave me comments to improve the site!
As an entire site is devoted to this process, only a summary and a chromagenesis are included in this portfolio.
Summary
In 2022, I have developed a process at the intersection of generative art, traditional art, and technology. I have named it Chromagenesis.

Digital reproductions of paintings that I find interesting for their palette are recomposed based on the properties of colors. The resulting image always has the same size and number of pixels as the original image, but it varies in its composition. In addition to fine-tuning parameters, manual intervention is necessary to introduce a certain element of surprise into the result.
Below, the original painting, Haere Mai, by Paul Gauguin.
